Sanjay grew up in India and moved to the United States at 18 to build his own future. From an early age he dreamed of growing a business of his own, and that goal has steered every career move he’s made. The values his parents lived—hard work, integrity, honesty, compassion, and constant curiosity—still guide every choice he makes. 

After college, Sanjay joined a Wall Street investment-banking team supporting marquee technology clients through complex financings and M&A. The exposure sharpened his analytical rigor and deal sense. He then moved to high-growth software company Toast, where he helped propel its milestone $1 billion IPO and first international expansion—work that deepened his appreciation for disciplined execution at scale. 

While earning his MBA, Sanjay immersed himself in hands-on operating roles. As Chief of Staff to an IT managed-services provider, he shaped the company’s AI adoption roadmap and long-term vision. He later partnered with a regional bakery chain, developing systems to standardize customer-experience metrics and empower frontline teams. These experiences reinforced his conviction that sharp processes, empowered people, and data-driven insight transform good companies into enduring great ones. 

His current industry focus—B2B Services, Software, Energy and Healthcare—guides his search to identify, acquire, and steward exceptional businesses. Whether leading a founder through a seamless transition or charting the next horizon of growth, he is committed to honoring the legacies others have built while forging new ones of his own—always anchored by the values first learned at home. 

Sanjay holds a B.A. in Economics and a B.S. in Financial Actuarial Mathematics from UCLA, and an M.B.A. from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
